Many of the stories shared on Twitter engaged me but Madison Fuerst's stood out in particular. At first glance the starting tweet grabbed my attention. It was dramatic and I was curious if it was meant to be satirical or suspenseful because of the way it was worded. As a started to read I had an inkling of what it may be about which engaged me even more because I wanted to see if I was correct. The story ended up being a set up to a situation that was much more mild than how it was explained making it comical and entertaining. The twitter expectations made reading these stories easily digestible. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into because there is a character limit and etiquette that is assumed when using Twitter. I knew that if I decided to click to see more that I would not be overwhelmed by an endless list of words and that the punch line would be delivered quickly. Other students even added to gif to help illustrate their stories which I found very engaging and funny. I noticed that most students decided to go with a comedic route when telling their stories. I feel that this is due to the expectation twitter holds, where most of the content is lighthearted and entertaining. Even when considering Madison's story which at first sounded like a dramatic story about the end of the world had a light ending which completely changed the mood of the story in a humorous way. When I go on twitter I want to immediate gratification I do not wan to commit too much time to any one post. The stories shared all took this into consideration. Even with the stories being limited to ten tweets and having to fit a narrative into a character and tweet limit students didnt surpass or even cluter what they had to work with. Madison smoothly transitioned moods and story with very little words making the story easy to follow and pleasing.
