The meme of the pouty faced little girl creates exigence for the audience that it is presented to because she represents the feelings a person has when they want something but cant have it.The mode and media are as follows, digital and visual because it is a picture online that you see and read. The audience is anyone who has ever craved Chik-fil-a on a Sunday or even broader anyone who has been told that they couldn't have something that they wanted. People internally tend to pout like a child when they don't get what they want. I believe that the composer of this piece choose a meme because it is simple, a quick read and captures the brief moment that a person has in this particular situation. He choose a child because this is an emotion best represented and expressed by children. The rhetorical appeals would include pathos because the viewer can empathizes with the feeling being expressed by the little girl in the picture. Logos is also used because the meme presents the fact that Chick-fil-a is not open on Sundays which is widely known and understood. The purpose of the meme is to make the viewer laugh because they can relate and have felt exactly like the girl in the picture. The meme is successful because it quickly expresses a common occurence among fast food lovers who are restricted to the companies rules and the emotions they feel about these rules.
